Every Now Spinning candle comes with its own curated playlist. Simply scan the QR code on the label and enjoy a soundtrack designed to match the scent and mood of your candle.
Scratch off the sticker on the label to reveal the QR code and password. Scan the QR code on your candle using your phone's camera and enter the password to access the playlist page. You'll be able to choose your preferred music platform and start listening instantly.
Our playlists are available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer and Tidal.
Not necessarily. Many streaming platforms offer free listening options, although some may include advertisements or limitations depending on the service.
Yes! Every playlist is included with your candle purchase at no extra cost.
The playlists are part of the experience, so we keep them a surprise until your candle arrives.
Each playlist is carefully curated to reflect the scent, mood and feeling of the candle. Some are nostalgic, some are cosy, some are upbeat, and others are designed to help you unwind.
Most playlists are around one hour long, giving you the perfect soundtrack for an evening of relaxing, reading, entertaining or simply enjoying your candle.
All playlists are personally curated by Mish, founder of Now Spinning Candle Company, combining a love of music, nostalgia and storytelling. Occasionally we invite guest curators to collaborate with us on some playlists.
No problem. We offer playlists across multiple music platforms, so you can choose the one that works best for you.
Most playlists are suitable for general listening, however some may contain occasional explicit lyrics depending on the theme, genre or era of music featured.
The playlists are carefully curated to be part of each candle's identity and generally remain the same, ensuring every customer enjoys the intended experience.
For our personalised event favours and custom orders, you can absolutely choose your own songs or work with us to create a playlist that suits your occasion.
Because scent and music are both deeply connected to memory. A fragrance can transport you to a moment, and a song can do exactly the same. Together, they create an experience that's designed to be remembered.
Sometimes the scent inspires the music. Sometimes the music inspires the scent. Either way, they're made for each other.

Candles & Fragrance
Our candles are hand-poured in Melbourne using premium soy wax, Australian-made fragrance oils and vegan-friendly ingredients.
Yes. Our candles are made using vegan-friendly ingredients and are never tested on animals.
Our candles have an approximate burn time of 50-100+ hours depending on the size and scent when cared for correctly.
That's completely normal. Wood wicks create a gentle crackling sound that adds to the cosy atmosphere of your candle.
For the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
Yes. Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm and remove any charred wood to help maintain an even flame and clean burn.
Frosting is a natural characteristic of soy wax and is a sign that your candle is made from natural ingredients. It won't affect the performance of your candle.
Not all fragrances perform the same way in soy wax. Some scents naturally produce a stronger scent throw, while softer florals and fresh fragrances can be more subtle. This is completely normal and does not indicate a fault with your candle.
Scent throw refers to how strongly a candle's fragrance can be detected. Cold throw is the scent you notice before lighting the candle, while hot throw is the fragrance released while the candle is burning.
Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to help preserve its fragrance and appearance.
Yes. We use high-quality fragrance oils that comply with Australian industry standards and are specifically designed for use in candles.
Because our candles are hand-poured in small batches, slight variations in wax appearance, colour and finish may occur. These variations are normal and make each candle unique.
When stored correctly, your candle will maintain its fragrance for many months. For the best scent experience, we recommend enjoying your candle within 12-18 months of purchase.
Everyone's sensitivities are different. If you're sensitive to fragrances, we recommend reviewing the scent notes carefully before purchasing.
Wood wicks can occasionally require a little extra care. Ensure the wick is trimmed to around 5mm, remove any burnt wood and allow the flame a few moments to establish itself.

Shipping is capped at $10 and we offer free shipping for all orders over $100.

Tracking updates can sometimes take a little time to appear. If there has been no movement for several business days, please get in touch and we'll investigate with the carrier.
Due to the nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we'll work with you to find a solution.

Yes! We create custom candle favours for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, corporate events, memorials and other special occasions.
Absolutely. You can select the songs, create your own playlist, or work with us to curate a soundtrack that reflects your event and guests.
Each favour includes a QR code that links directly to your chosen playlist, allowing guests to relive the memories long after the event is over.
Our personalised favours are popular for weddings, engagement parties, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, and memorials and celebration of life services.
Yes. We can personalise labels with names, dates, messages, event details and custom artwork where suitable.
Minimum order quantities may apply depending on the style and level of customisation required. Contact us for a personalised quote.
We recommend contacting us at least 6-8 weeks before your event. Larger orders may require additional lead time.
Yes. We can create meaningful keepsakes featuring favourite songs, special memories, names, dates and personalised messages to honour a loved one.
In many cases, yes. We'll work with you to create a design that complements your event styling and aesthetic.

Yes! We love partnering with independent retailers, gift stores, record stores, florists, lifestyle boutiques and other businesses that share our love of nostalgia, music and great candles.
Our minimum opening order is just 5 candles, making it easy for new stockists to trial the range without a large upfront investment.
Yes. Approved wholesale partners receive 30% off the recommended retail price (RRP), along with access to our wholesale ordering information. In some circumstances we may also supply stores on a consignment basis.

For every Pride Range candle sold, we donate $5 directly to Minus18 to help support their important work with LGBTQIA+ youth. We also donate 5% of all other sales.

Hi, I'm Mish! After more than 10 years in the candle industry and a lifetime spent obsessing over music, I created Now Spinning to bring together two things I love: fragrance and sound.
We're based in inner north Melbourne, Australia, where every candle is hand-poured in small batches.
Music and scent both have an incredible ability to bring back memories and emotions. I wanted to create a product that combined both experiences into something truly memorable.
Yes! Now Spinning Candle Company was created around the idea that fragrance and music belong together. While you may find similar concepts elsewhere around the world, we're proud to be Australia's original candles with playlists, pairing every candle with a curated soundtrack designed to match the scent, mood and experience.
